Full Time
Smadex S.L.U
Experienced
Smadex is a leading advertising technology company founded in Barcelona in 2011 and sold to American-based and stock-listed Entravision in 2018 (NYSE::EVC). We are a fully transparent platform built with top technology, countless programmatic management features and powerful machine learning algorithms to help advertisers grow their business at scale. We are currently considered one of the top mobile ad-tech companies in the world.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Barcelona.

We are looking for a highly capable, experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect to lead the design, setup, and ongoing management of a dedicated Salesforce instance for Entravision Ad Tech Services.

In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll report directly to the VP Operational Strategy and work closely with the US-based technical team to ensure a smooth implementation and long-term scalability. We are seeking a technical leader who can confidently build, run, and evolve a Salesforce environment with minimal oversight.

What You’ll Do:

Salesforce Platform Ownership

  • Set up and maintain a dedicated Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud instance, and Experience Cloud sites from the ground up
  • Design and maintain a scalable data model (custom objects, relationships, record types)
  • Define security policies utilizing roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security architecture
  • Lead implementation of the UI/UX, Lightning Applications and components and automations
  • Roll out new Salesforce features and platform capabilities as they become available

Automation & Optimization

  • Build advanced process automations, utilizing Flow where able (no-code-first approach)
Implement validation rules, formula fields, custom metadata, and error-handling logic
  • Continuously review system design to improve usability, performance, and governance
  • Ensure implementation aligns with Salesforce platform best practices and audit-readiness (SOX compliance)

Reporting & Integration

  • Create and manage core Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Support and configure complex iPaaS integrations via Workato, including syncs with marketing platforms, financial systems (e.g. NetSuite), and internal data pipelines
  • Collaborate with BI teams to ensure clean data handoffs to Power BI.

Cross-Team Technical Alignment

  • Work closely with Entravision’s US-based Salesforce engineering team during the initial onboarding and transition period
  • Collaborate with our internal PMO and operational teams (not end users directly) to ensure delivery is aligned with business priorities and timelines
  • Proactively contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing
Skills and requirements:
  • 6-8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least one full-cycle org implementation
  • Proven track record of owning or architecting complex Salesforce setups independently
  • Strong expertise in declarative features: Flows, reports, Lightning Builder, permission sets, sharing
  • Comfortable with Apex and LWC development, REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS tooling (Workato preferred), and system performance tuning
  • Able to manage platform priorities, deliver in sprints, and scale systems sustainably without micromanagement
  • Experience in ad tech, digital media, or marketing tech is strongly preferred
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator is required; Platform App Builder, Developer, and Architect certs are a plus
  • Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
Please note that we do NOT provide VISA sponsorship. Candidates without a legal permit to work in Spain won't be considered.

What is in it for you:

  • Integrate a highly motivated and young team
  • Great compensation package
  • Top location at the heart of Barcelona with a rooftop terrace, Barbeque, and a fully stocked fridge
  • Great work-life balance: work from home (2 days per week), flexible hours
  • LinkedIn Learning and training opportunities
  • Meal vouchers - Ticket Restaurant monthly allowance
  • Monthly gym allowance to use in up to 30 DIR gyms around the city
  • Monthly TGIF events
  • Regular team-building events
  • Fun and friendly work environment with talented marketers and engineers from over 28 countries
  • And more!
