WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

A Devops Engineer Intern willing to learn and gain experience working hand to hand with our top-notch DevOps team.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong interest in DevOps or related field
  • Familiarity with deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef
  • Familiarity with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Basic understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Bonus points:

  • Basic Linux skills. Be comfortable working with a terminal. You will learn everything else!

-What will you do at Smadex?

  • Gain hands-on experience with various tools and programming languages in the field of software development.
  • Help building a cloud-based platform using modern technologies, collaborating and learning from other highly-skilled peers.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical and architectural decisions, collaborate in a fast-paced environment where every opinion counts!

Our tech stack is 100% based on AWS, running thousands of instances and containers in 7 different regions.

Technologies: Java, NodeJS, Python, Redis, AWS, Nginx, HAProxy, Apache Druid, MySQL, Memcache, Netflix Hollow, and much more :)
