Product Manager, MMPs & Attribution
Smadex is a leading advertising technology company founded in Barcelona in 2010 and acquired by US-based, publicly traded Entravision (NYSE: EVC) in 2018. We are one of the top mobile ad-tech companies in the world and the largest Demand Side Platform (DSP) based in Europe, with revenues over $100M and consistently growing year over year.
As a Product Manager, MMPs & Attribution you will own the strategy and execution for how Smadex integrates with Mobile Measurement Partners and uses its features. Building the capabilities that ensure accurate attribution across our advertisers. You'll work hand in hand with engineering to shape the roadmap and roll out features across MMP integrations, attribution logic, and measurement signals, while aligning commercial, marketing, and operations teams around a shared direction.
This position is ideally based in Barcelona (hybrid), but open to remote within Europe for the right candidate.
Role's tasks and responsibilities:
- Own product strategy and execution for our attribution and MMP integration area, driving innovative ideas, features, continuously assessing new development and enhancement opportunities.
- Work closely with engineering to prioritize development, align commercial, marketing, and operations teams on timelines and strategy. Defining, representing, and communicating product developments across the company.
- Set the metrics and experimentation approach for your area, making data-based decisions to decide what is shipped, monitoring results, and keeping the business relevant and competitive.
- Partner with Data Science, AdOps, and Engineering teams to standardize integrations and macros across MMPs, improving attribution accuracy, reconciliation, and the quality of measurement signals that feed optimization.
- Stay at the forefront of AdTech, mobile measurement and attribution methodologies, industry trends, and privacy regulations that shape addressability and measurement (SKAdNetwork, AdAttributionKit, probabilistic and privacy-driven attribution).
Role's skills and requirements:
- Technical degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid understanding of the mobile measurement ecosystem (attribution, MMPs, postbacks, macros, deep linking, and deterministic vs. probabilistic attribution).
- 2+ years’ experience in product management.
- Fluency with data. You can write SQL and work independently with data to answer your own questions.
- Demonstrated experience in hypothesis-driven learning and turning data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written communication. You write specs that hold up to technical scrutiny and need little editing before they ship.
Preferred:
- Experience in programmatic advertising, adtech, or another real-time bidding or marketplace environment.
- Familiarity with fraud/viewability, iOS privacy frameworks (SKAN/AAK), or server-to-server integrations with measurement providers.
