Smadex is a fast-growing Mobile DSP advertising company that empowers growth marketers to find the most valuable audiences for their business. We are looking for a Sr Business Development Manager to grow our business with leading mobile game publishers in Europe. The role requires strong sales execution and knowledge of the mobile programmatic ecosystem.

Smadex was founded in Barcelona in 2011 and sold to American-based and stock-listed Entravision in 2018 (NYSE::EVC). We are currently considered one of the top mobile ad-tech companies in the world, competing with the top global DSPs and Programmatic networks across each continent.


Sr Business Development Manager will build user acquisition partnerships with leading mobile game developers and expand our advertisers base in Europe. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the Programmatic and Mobile ecosystem.

The final candidate for this position needs to be based in Germany (preferably Berlin) or willing to move to Berlin in the very near future. 

What would you do:

  • Full responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing new advertisers and managing long term relationships with key clients from Europe
  • Benchmark of the local market, and frequent trips to attend local events, visit clients and organize workshops
  • Serve as a primary liaison between clients and Client Growth teams to ensure campaigns are launched on time and delivered in full by actively overseeing delivery and revising or optimizing plans as necessary to exceed client expectations
  • Track and manage advertisers' pipeline to exceed quarterly business goals
  • Represent Smadex externally and stay up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile advertising

What do you need to have:

  • Minimum +3 years of experience in the Mobile programmatic ecosystem
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, and/or key account management is a MUST.
  • Previous work experience in a startup / high-demanding environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English are a MUST.  Another language such as German will be a huge plus. 
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional new business initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast-moving environment.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the leading sales CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot).
  • Extensive experience establishing strong relationships with senior marketers
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
  • Performance-driven with the ability to work independently as well as part of a multicultural team.
  • Motivated and quick learner able to adapt to new technology, software, and responsibilities.
