We are currently considered one of the top mobile ad-tech companies in the world, powering campaigns for Apps, Games and Brands across Mobile and CTV using advanced machine learning and optimized creative strategies to deliver results

To help us continue our growth across the US region, we are looking for a tech-savvy and client-facing individual to join our commercial team as a Sales Engineer. You will be the technical expert, bridging the gap between our innovative ad-tech solutions and the needs of our clients.

Your mission:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be a key player in our growth, partnering with the Sales team to drive successful deals by showcasing your deep product expertise. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, guiding them through complex conversations on attribution, measurement, and performance, ensuring they get the most out of the Smadex platform.

This is a remote role based in the United States. Candidates must be legally authorised to work in the US (no visa sponsorship provided).

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for our advertisers and partners, proactively engaging with them to troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues through various channels.
  • Lead the technical investigation and resolution of complex issues by independently debugging problems through the analysis of server logs and other internal data sources.
  • Drive the growth of the Smadex platform by leading initiatives to expand our tech stack's capabilities and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to translate client needs into our product roadmap.
  • Empower both clients and internal teams by developing and delivering technical tutorials, sample code, and participating in the creation of internal support tools and applications.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on ad-tech standards and principles, representing Smadex in key client engagements, which may occasionally require travel.

Skills and requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role within the AdTech ecosystem (DSP, SSP, agency, or ad serving platform).
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience in turning data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for prototyping, automation, or integration with analytics and tracking tools.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Cloud development (e.g., AWS, GCP,..)
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and taking initiative to implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a knack for asking the right questions, then answering them with sound data and analysis.
  • Superior communication skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans.
  • Must be able to travel to conferences and international off-sites: Valid passport required!
